Medlin (COL)
Wood, steel
Commissioned by Museo de Arte Moderno Medellin
Like a frozen moment, movement is caught and captured. We are invited to interact and observe a three dimensional momentum. The double curved peel engages in dialogue with the architecture and the surrounding view, as it invites physical interaction.
The shape and gesture of the sculpture suggests the motion of a wave, the graceful twirl of a dancer or a garment moved by a gust of wind.
Do come on up and enjoy the view, play and relax on the peeled deck.
